Project Overview

The external rendering of 18 bungalows owned by Platform Housing in Derbyshire required a complete refresh. The work was completed over three carefully planned phases to accommodate complex access restrictions. The project required the removal of deteriorating existing render and the installation of a new Webber system, combining silicone scratch and silicone thin coat renders to achieve both long-term durability and a clean, modern appearance.

A key challenge lay in maintaining a consistent colour match across all phases despite changing seasonal conditions, managed through a detailed construction programme agreed with the main contractor. Particular focus was placed on the soffits, where intricate detailing and restricted positioning demanded meticulous workmanship to achieve a flawless finish.

The completed scheme has delivered a uniform, robust render that enhances the visual appeal of the bungalows, supports improved EPC performance and contributes positively to the wider regeneration of the area.
