Project Overview
We were engaged by a social housing provider to carry out external wall remedial works to improve the property’s appearance and durability. The project focused on restoring a deteriorated section of the wall while ensuring a clean, well-prepared surface for long-term protection against the elements.
The scope of works included the removal of overgrown plants and weeds, followed by the complete stripping of existing render from approximately 20 sqm of wall area. The surface was then prepared by repairing any defects and installing stop beads to all edges to ensure a clean, defined finish. A cement-based single-coat render system was applied, and once fully cured, the wall was finished with a high-quality masonry paint to provide a durable and weather-resistant coating.
