Project Overview
When a busy Scottish nursery group in Glasgow reached out to us, they were facing a challenge many childcare providers in rainy parts of the UK will recognise – their outdoor play area had turned into an unusable mud bath. With heavy rainfall being a regular feature of the Glasgow climate, the children were missing out on vital outdoor playtime.
By installing proper ACO drainage systems and laying high-quality artificial grass across the play area, we transformed the space into an all-weather haven where children could play outside regardless of what the Scottish skies had in store. But we didn’t stop there. The project also included a complete refurbishment of the WC and nappy-changing facilities, essential flooring repairs, and a full internal redecoration throughout the nursery. The results? A bright, welcoming environment that made a massive difference to both staff and children alike – proving once again that thoughtful improvements to a building can have a real impact on daily life.
